Darwinium gives security teams visibility into what every human, bot and AI agent is doing across web, mobile, API and MCP traffic. It runs inside the CDN you already use and assesses intent as each journey unfolds. It acts before malicious traffic reaches your application and preserves decision evidence you can stream to your SIEM.
Why are WAFs and bot management missing AI-driven threats?
Logs, WAFs and bot-management tools were built for a web of humans and simple automation. They can tell you a request arrived. They often can't tell you whether the actor behind it is a legitimate customer, a trusted agent acting for that customer, a compromised agent, or malicious automation. Agents add three hard cases:
- Undeclared agents with no signature to verify
- Declared agents hijacked through stolen credentials or prompt injection, which still pass every identity check
- Malicious automation using the same tool calls a trusted agent would use
Only about one in four agentic transactions self-declares and 89% of organizations expect non-human traffic to increase over the next 12 months.
How does Darwinium secure MCP and AI agent traffic?
Most WAF, bot-management and identity tools can't see MCP. They can't tell which tools are invoked with which arguments, and they have no concept of the non-human identities driving the traffic.
- MCP Protection brings that traffic under the same edge control plane as web, mobile and API. It stitches the agent's prompt and its ordered tool calls (with payloads and geolocation on every call) into a single journey with the human activity it leads to.
- Journey Transition Probability scores every tool call, so the same signals that flag a coerced human also flag a hijacked agent, with no signatures to maintain. Cryptographic agent credentials such as Web Bot Auth are validated at the edge and become one more signal in the decision.
What can security teams see from the edge?
Journey visibility starts at the first pre-authentication interaction, not just at login or checkout. From there, security teams can:
- Analyze API content and context, not just request volume
- Detect business-logic abuse using the full context of user interactions
- Identify account takeover throughout the journey, not only at login
- Surface credential stuffing, scraping and suspicious API activity at the perimeter, reducing malicious traffic reaching origin
Each decision combines device, behavioral, identity and network context that server-side logs alone don't capture.
How do security and fraud teams work from one view?
Most organizations still protect isolated checkpoints with separate tools: 64% say they can stop fraud at only a few checkpoints, or just one.
Darwinium gives security and fraud teams one deployment and one decision layer.
- Security gains device, network, behavioral and journey context that traditional controls don't provide.
- Fraud teams gain continuous visibility beyond point-in-time checks.
Every decision comes with a replayable evidence trail that can stream to your SIEM for investigation, audit and incident response.
What will your security review want to know?
These are the points a security review usually covers:
- Data control: Sensitive PII is encrypted at the edge before it leaves your environment. Analysis uses anonymized data and hashed identifiers. Decrypted access stays under customer-managed permissions and keys, and encrypted event data can be stored in your own AWS S3 bucket.
- Supply-chain exposure: Profiling JavaScript can be served through your own CDN and domain, with updates going through your own review and change controls.
- Availability: Configurable fail-open behavior means a temporary dependency outage doesn't interrupt legitimate traffic.
- Compliance: SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022, plus support for PCI DSS obligations. Reports are available to qualified customers during security review.
- 97% of organizations report an increase in AI-driven attacks
- 93% have already encountered deepfake-style fraud attempts
- 89% expect non-human traffic to increase over the next 12 months
- Only about one in four agentic transactions self-declares
